Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of the wildbuffaloti.com website (“Website” or “Service”) and any related products and services (collectively, “Services”). This Agreement is a legally binding contract between you (“User”, “you” or “your”) and Wild Buffalo Technologies & Innovations LLC (“Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Website and Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you are acting on behalf of a business or entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.

Municipal and Institutional Use Only. Our products and Services are intended solely for purchase and use by law enforcement, correctional facilities, courts, detention centers, and other public safety agencies and institutions. We do not sell to residential, household, or personal consumers.

By submitting an inquiry, quote request, or order, you represent and warrant that you are acting on behalf of an eligible municipal or institutional entity. We reserve the right to:

  • Require submission by an authorized representative using an official agency or organizational email.

  • Request verification of affiliation.

  • Refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our sole discretion.

 

Builder / Contractor Inquiries

For builders and contractors working with municipal or institutional facilities, all inquiries and project submissions must include and copy:

  • The facility’s official point of contact (Commanding Officer, Maintenance Officer, Procurement Officer, or Agency Project Liaison)

  • Their full name and official title

  • Official agency email address

  • Direct contact phone number

Failure to provide this information may result in delayed responses or rejection of the inquiry.

No Professional Advice. All information, product descriptions, specifications, installation guidance, care instructions, and communications provided on the Website or by  Wild Buffalo Technologies & Innovations LLC are for general informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional, technical, engineering, safety, legal, or medical advice.

We do not warrant or guarantee the suitability, safety, or compliance of our products for any specific facility, application, or circumstance. You are solely responsible for consulting with qualified professionals (including engineers, safety experts, legal counsel, and medical advisors) to determine the appropriateness and proper use of the Products in your institutional environment.

 

Quotes, Custom Products, and Measurements. Our blinds are custom-made to your facility’s specifications. You are responsible for providing accurate measurements (width × height, taken from the outer edges of steel window frames) and specifications.

We are not responsible for issues arising from inaccurate measurements, incorrect specifications, or incompatible surfaces (e.g., aluminum or non-ferrous materials).

Minor size variances (a fraction of an inch) may occur during custom fabrication. These are normal and do not affect the product’s fit, coverage, or performance.

 

Lead Times and Rush Orders. Typical production time is approximately 6–8 weeks after order approval. Rush orders may be available upon request, but are not guaranteed.

 

Force Majeure. Neither party is liable for delays or failures to perform (except payment obligations) caused by events beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, government orders, strikes, material shortages, epidemics, or pandemics (“Force Majeure Event”).

The affected party must notify the other promptly and make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact. If the event lasts more than 60 days, either party may terminate the affected order without further liability (except for products already delivered or in process).

 

Billing and Payments. Payment terms vary by customer type. Government agencies may use approved purchase orders with standard Net terms (e.g., Net 30/60/90 or other agreed-upon terms). Payment forms accepted are: check, ACH, or credit card, where permitted.

We may request documentation to verify facility orders. We reserve the right to change pricing, refuse, or cancel orders at any time. Changes or cancellations will be notified using the contact information provided.

 

Shipping. We ship within the United States only. All orders must ship to a U.S. address, primarily via FedEx (USPS available upon request).

Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery of the products to the carrier (FOB Shipping Point). We are not responsible for loss, damage, or delay after handover to the carrier. You are responsible for filing any claims with the carrier.

 

Warranty. We provide a one-year limited warranty against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship, starting from the delivery date.

This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, abuse, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, normal wear and tear, improper cleaning, or use on incompatible surfaces.

To request service, contact us with order details and a description of the facility's needs. We may, at our discretion, repair, replace, or provide an equivalent remedy.

 

Disclaimer of Warranties. Other than stated above, our products are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We make no warranty that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your requirements.

 

Returns and Cancellations. Cancellations or changes may be possible before production starts, but are not guaranteed. Once production has begun, if a cancellation occurs, there will be a 25% restocking fee. Because products are custom-made, all complete sales are final.

 

Links to Other Resources. Links to third-party resources are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, approve, or assume responsibility for any linked content, products, or services. Some links may be affiliate links. Your use of linked resources is at your own risk.

 

Prohibited Uses. You may not use the Website or Services for any unlawful purpose, to violate laws, infringe intellectual property, harass or discriminate, submit false information, transmit viruses or malicious code, spam, or interfere with security features.

We reserve the right to terminate your access for any violation.

 

Intellectual Property. All intellectual property rights (including trademarks, designs, patents, and copyrights) related to the Website, Services, and Products remain solely with Wild Buffalo Technologies & Innovations LLC or its licensors. Nothing in this Agreement transfers any IP rights to you.

 

CAUTION: Strong Magnet Warning and Liability. Our Magnetic Privacy Blinds and Screens (MPBS™) contain extremely powerful magnets. Hazards include:

  • Severe pinching or crushing injuries to fingers/hands.

  • Interference with pacemakers, ICDs, insulin pumps, and other medical devices.

  • Damage or erasure of data on credit cards, electronics, hard drives, etc.

  • Choking or internal injury hazard if magnets are swallowed or broken.

 

Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data), even if advised of the possibility.

Our aggregate liability will not exceed a commercially reasonable cap.

 

Liability Disclaimer. We assume no liability for any injury, property damage, data loss, or harm resulting from purchase, use, installation, handling, tampering, or misuse. By purchasing or using the products, you assume all risks and agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any related claims.

 

Handling Requirements. Products must be handled only by trained corrections/law enforcement personnel. Prevent access by inmates, patients, minors, or unauthorized persons. Persons with medical implants must not handle or install the products.

 

Facility and Institutional Use. All use must remain strictly within your secure institutional/facility environment and under the supervision of trained personnel.

 

Care Instructions. Clean with soap and water or a soft multi-purpose cleaner. Do not iron, machine wash, bleach, or use harsh chemicals. Intended Use: Privacy and security coverings for doors and windows only. Not for use as blankets, toys, or any other purpose. Keep out of reach of children. Some materials contain fiberglass — tampering may release irritating particles.

 

Assumption of Risk. By purchasing, receiving, handling, installing, or using our products, you expressly acknowledge the serious risks associated with powerful magnets and voluntarily assume all such risks. You understand and accept full responsibility for any and all potential injuries, damages, or losses, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, medical complications, data loss, or death that may result from the use, misuse, installation, tampering, or handling of these products.

You represent that you (and your facility) have the knowledge, training, and safety protocols necessary to safely manage these risks, and you agree to use the products strictly in accordance with all provided warnings and instructions.

 

Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold us, our affiliates, officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the products, your content, or any willful misconduct.

 

Attorneys’ Fees. In any legal action to enforce this Agreement, the prevailing party is entitled to recover reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs from the non-prevailing party.

 

No Third-Party Beneficiaries. This Agreement benefits only you and Wild Buffalo Technologies & Innovations LLC. No third party has any rights under it.

 

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

At our sole discretion, disputes may be resolved by binding arbitration in Bronx County, New York, under AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules before a single New York-licensed attorney arbitrator. You waive any right to a jury trial and agree to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in Bronx County, New York courts for non-arbitrated matters. You also waive any right to participate in class actions.

 

Severability. If any provision is held illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

 

Changes to the Agreement. We may modify this Agreement at any time. Changes become effective upon posting the updated version (with revised date). Your continued use of the Website or Services after changes constitutes acceptance.

 

Accuracy of Information. We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions on the Website (including pricing) and to cancel or update orders if information is inaccurate, without prior notice.

 

Entire Agreement. This Agreement, together with any accepted quote or purchase order, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior understandings. No additional or different terms from your purchase orders are accepted.

 

Acceptance. By accessing or using the Website and Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website or Services.
